Arun Sarin one of the few Indian-origin chiefs of large companies is stepping down as the CEO of British Telephone giant Vodafone.He Would be replaced by his deputy vittorio colao on July 29.
Mr.Sarin Became the CEo of Vodafone in july 2003 and has lead vodafone's evolution into a full fledged communications company.Vodafone's customer base has doubled more than 120 million to 260 million gloabally under his leadership.the return to shareholders also grew with dividends rising more than 400%.
Afer 5 years as the CEO of one of the largest mobile operaters in the world, Mr.Sarin would retie at the end of vodafone's annual general meeting on july 29 and would be succeeded by his deputy vittorio colao.
